Afternoon dress, two piece embroidered batiste with sheer under sleeves, crochet lace, aqua ribbon at neckline and waist. The silhouette was achieved through the introduction of the "S-curve" corset. Also referred to as a "health corset," it was designed to make breathing easier. (c. 1901)
